Teresa Siles

Teresa Siles is president and partner of Nuffer, Smith, Tucker Public Relations (NST), the same agency where she began her public relations career as an intern in 2001. During her 20+ year tenure at NST, Teresa has led a range of strategic planning, integrated media relations, marketing communications, and crisis and issues management projects for clients in multiple industries.

Teresa’s passion for exploration is reflected in NST’s vision to Redefine PR – a vision she helped develop and drives daily. For Teresa, redefining PR means constantly exploring beyond the status quo, creating fresh strategies for NST’s clients, committing firmly to NST’s values and taking calculated risks – pushing NST and NST’s partners to be better.

Teresa also serves as NSTs strategic planning practice leader, where she has evolved the process to reflect the changing business environment and clients’ needs. As part of this, she introduced the concept of “social purpose” – an organization’s end benefit to people or society – into NST’s strategic planning approach.

Teresa – who earned her bachelor’s and MBA from San Diego State University – has received numerous awards, most recently being named to San Diego Metropolitan’s 2022 Women of Accomplishment and recognized as a finalist at San Diego Magazine’s 2021 Celebrating Women event. In 2016, she was named among the Young and Influential by the San Diego Daily Transcript as well as recognized among San Diego Metropolitan’s 40 Under 40. Additionally, she was named the Public Relations Professional of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter in 2015.
